Handbook
UK Finance · Part 1 & 2

Part 2 of the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders' Handbook is amended by lenders without notice. Check the current version before relying on any requirement described here.

Cover

Charges levied on the owner for making up the road, and the loss that follows.

Whether a policy is appropriate, and on what terms, is a matter for the conveyancer on the individual title. Premiums, limits of indemnity and exclusions are set by the insurer and are not reproduced here. Where a lender is involved, its own requirements on indemnity policies sit in Part 2 of the Handbook.

Acting on lender instructions

LenderPanel maintains the directory borrowers search when choosing a conveyancer. Panel membership decides whether a firm can act at all.
